Skill Set

This role requires a designer with a good balance of creativity and practical thinking. Strong skills in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Canva are essential for creating clear visuals and plans. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling multiple tasks. A good sense of style, color, and functionality is important, especially for high-traffic rental spaces. Understanding what makes a space both visually appealing and guest-friendly is key, along with the ability to communicate ideas clearly.

Responsibility

The designer will be responsible for creating stylish, functional spaces for short-term rentals, ensuring each design fits the client’s goals and guest needs. Tasks include developing concepts, preparing mood boards, 3D models, and floor plans, and selecting furniture, decor, and materials. The role also involves overseeing projects from start to finish, managing timelines and budgets, and coordinating with vendors and property owners. Staying updated on design trends and offering styling support for final setups or photoshoots is also part of the role.
