Skill Set

As a Senior Designer with minimum of 10 years of experience in exhibition design, you must excel in delivering museum projects from start to finish. This role requires exceptional design skills in concept development, planning, and detailing. Strong leadership is essential for effectively guiding projects and collaborating with clients and team members. Experience in the government sector is advantageous, alongside a comprehensive understanding of the museum design process. While qualifications can be in exhibition design, spatial design, or architecture, direct experience in exhibition design is crucial.

Responsibility

They will lead projects from inception to completion, conducting thorough research on design concepts and strategies for museum and exhibition projects. They will develop design solutions, engage in planning, and oversee project execution. Collaboration with clients, team members, external vendors, and stakeholders is essential to gather insights and align objectives while managing timelines and budgets. Additionally, the designer will handle the logistics of installations and deinstallations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and assess the effectiveness of exhibitions through post-project evaluations.
