Skill Set

Detail-oriented Assistant Designer with a passion for luxury fashion and a strong understanding of the design development process. Should be organized, collaborative, and capable of supporting multiple collections in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with luxury couture or premium fashion brands
• Strong understanding of garment construction, silhouettes, fabrics, and couture development processes
• Ability to manage multiple styles, samples, and collection timelines simultaneously
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and design documentation tools

Responsibility

Involves supporting the design team throughout the collection lifecycle, ensuring smooth coordination between design, development, and production functions.

• Assist designers with research, mood boards, fabric sourcing, trims, and design documentation
• Coordinate with sampling, pattern-making, embroidery, and production teams for timely execution
• Track garment development timelines and monitor collection progress
• Maintain technical sheets, design archives, and collection records accurately
• Support fittings, approvals, sample reviews, and final garment evaluations before production
